    If they only need it to work to compare popularity...

    Then why can't they just look at the most viewed details?

    Why do they need to know what everyone has looked at?

    If videos posted on the same day as an unauthorised one is more popular, then you've got your answer.

    I think Viacom might find out that people prefer to watch kids being attacked by rogue black cats than their programmes.
